About
Tiszaújváros Medicinal and Beach Bath is a spa and swimming complex in Tiszaújváros, Hungary. According to the operator it has been a nationally recognised medicinal bath since 2001 and uses 65 °C thermal mineral water from a depth of 1,200 m. The medicinal part has three indoor pools at 34-40 °C and one open-air medicinal pool (32-34 °C) and a children's play corner.
The summer beach area of about 7 hectares offers five experience pools (including a 50 m swimming pool, a wave pool and a slide pool), green areas, sports pitches and a playground. The wellness section includes an infrared sauna, a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna with light therapy, a steam cabin, an ice slush room, a solarium and massages.

The price list is labelled off-season; prices are indicative according to the operator and include VAT. Residents of Tiszaújváros have much lower rates (for example adult all day 1,800 HUF). Multi-entry passes also exist; 10 sauna entries cost 31,400 HUF.

Rules and good to know
- Pools are used in swimwear; topless and naturist bathing are not allowed, women wear a swimsuit and men trunks that cover above the knee
- A shower or footbath is compulsory before entering a pool
- Children under 14 only with an adult; time in the medicinal pools is not recommended for children under 10
- Slides may not be used below 110 cm shoulder height
- The castle pool (Vármedence) is only for children aged 0-10
- Smoking is prohibited in the spa building; on the beach it is allowed outside restricted zones
