About
The Vác municipal pool and beach baths stand on the Danube promenade next to the Szentháromság tér heritage ensemble. According to the operator, the indoor pool holds 200 and the outdoor beach 800 guests. The winter pools (33 m and 25 m) also serve swim clubs and swimming lessons, with free lanes for the public according to a schedule. In summer an L-shaped outdoor pool and a children's pool open.
The operator describes the water as a calcium-magnesium-hydrogen-carbonate chloride water said to help with nerve pain. The wellness side is small: a Finnish sauna for 1–4 people (80–95 °C) that must be booked by phone at least an hour ahead; the price list also lists an infrared sauna. Sauna prices are listed for 1 Sept–15 June.
- Winter pool 33 m, 8 lanes, water 25–26 °C, covered by a tent in winter
- 25 m pool, 4 lanes, water 28–29 °C
- Summer outdoor L-shaped pool (46 × 18.7 m, 27–28 °C) and a children's pool with a slide
