About
Velence Resort & Spa is a four-star wellness hotel right on the shore of Lake Velence, with its own beach, an adventure pool and medicinal water. According to the operator it is geared to families with children, but the spa is also open to outside visitors and a single day is enough.
The water world has indoor and outdoor adventure pools, children's pools, a 25 m teaching pool and a medicinal-water pool. The sauna park, for visitors aged 14 and over, offers a Finnish sauna, steam cabins, infrared cabins, a bio sauna with light therapy, a salt room, an ice well, a plunge pool and a Kneipp path; themed sauna sessions run on selected days.

The spa closes when the permitted capacity is reached (according to the site at most 200 outside guests on top of hotel guests). Outdoor pools depend on the weather, and the small outdoor adventure pool is out of service until further notice according to the site; the site recommends phoning the spa reception before setting out.

Special rates apply in peak periods (23 Oct–1 Nov 2026 and 24 Dec 2026–3 Jan 2027): adult 7,900 HUF, child 4,900 HUF, family 17,900 HUF, afternoon 5,900 HUF. The site also lists a senior discount from age 65 (3,900 HUF). The wellness area accepts card payment only, no cash. The site does not say whether the sauna park is included in the entry price; check at reception.
