Wellness Hotel Spark is a four-star hotel in a pine forest by Plavecký Štvrtok, near Malacky in western Slovakia. According to the operator, the wellness centre is also open to the public.

There is a 12×6 m calm pool with a counter-current and a water jet, a whirlpool for 5 people and a small children's pool, plus a heated outdoor pool in the atrium in summer. The sauna area has a steam salt sauna, a herbal aroma sauna, an infrared sauna and a Finnish sauna, with a cooling tub and a salt inhalation room.

Opening hours

Hours are from the price list for 26 Oct–22 Nov 2026. The Contact page gives different, general hours (pools Mon–Thu and Sun 10:00–20:00, Fri and Sat 10:00–21:00, saunas Thu–Sun from 16:00), so the data conflict; confirm by phone at reception. The wellness centre is closed during swimming courses and events, and the hotel reserves the right to limit operation depending on occupancy.

Prices

The price list is valid from 1 Dec 2025 and the hotel reserves the right to change it. Tickets bought an hour before closing get 30% off. Children under 3.99 enter the pool free, and the adult price applies from age 15. A sauna ticket includes one sheet and, per the operator, a bottle of water. A wellness card (prepaid pass) with a 2–10% discount depending on credit is also available. The house rules give €3 / 45 min for a child under 15 in the salt inhalation room and infrared sauna, while the price list says €4.

Rules and good to know

• Swimwear is required in the pool area and the atrium; there is no swimwear-free zone (except showers, the cooling tub and changing rooms)
• In the sauna area you must wrap yourself in a sheet; in the Finnish sauna only the hotel sheet, coloured towels and sheets are banned
• You may not enter the salt inhalation room without clothing, a sheet or a bathrobe
• Children under 14.99 may not enter the sauna area; they may use the salt inhalation room and infrared sauna daily until 12:00
• Minors only with an adult, and one adult may accompany at most 2 minors
• The children's pool is for children up to 6 years only
• No food or drink in pools, whirlpool, saunas or the inhalation room; no glass items
• A relaxation mode applies after 6 pm
