About
Romantik Hotel Achterdiek is a hotel on the car-free East Frisian island of Juist in the North Sea. According to the operator it has a small wellness area with its own pool, meant for swimming, sweating and relaxing.
The 85 m² pool is saltwater. The sauna landscape consists of a 90 °C outdoor sauna, an 80 °C rose sauna, a 50 °C sound sauna, a foot pool and an ice well; there are also relaxation rooms, an infrared cabin, heated loungers and two whirlpools.

Getting there
Take the ferry to Juist from Norddeich-Mole harbour (about 90 minutes, Reederei Frisia); the fast boats Inselexpress and Töwerland-Express also run
From Emden by the A31, exit Norddeich, then about 30 km by road; park in the large car parks in Norddeich, as cars are not allowed on the island
By train to Norddeich-Mole station, just metres from the ferry pier; the island can also be reached by air
Ferry times depend on the tides and do not run at fixed hours
