About
Westfalen Therme in Bad Lippspringe is, according to the operator, an adventure and wellness thermal spa with a water world, a sauna world spanning 6,000 m² and the WALDgarten sauna garden. It is directly connected to the four-star Vital Hotel.
According to the operator the sauna world offers a panoramic treehouse sauna 12 m up, a 100 m² garden sauna, a rustic Järve earth sauna with a fireplace, infusion saunas (75, 85 and 95 °C), eucalyptus, herbal and bio saunas and a steam bath, with up to 20 infusions a day. The saunas are swimwear-free; the textile sauna is in the separate Salinarium.

4-hour tickets, concession and family tickets and WellnessCards with a 10–30% entry discount (150–500 € credit) also exist. A sauna add-on to the no-sauna ticket costs 12.00 € per person. Concessions apply to children, pupils, students, trainees and severely disabled guests (80% or more) with valid proof.

- Since 1 Oct 2025 the WALDgarten is a swimwear-free area only; swimwear is not allowed there

- Elsewhere in the spa classic swimwear is welcome; the operator asks guests not to wear string swimwear
- Children and teenagers under 16 may use the saunas only with an adult
- Pets are not allowed
- Smoking is allowed only in marked outdoor areas
