Resort & SPA Wichrowe Wzgórze is a leisure complex in Chmielno in Kashubia, about 33 km from Gdańsk, on the shore of Lake Kłodno. According to the operator it offers accommodation, a restaurant and wellness and spa facilities, including a pool with a lake view and saunas.

The pool has the attractions Geyser, Typhoon, Cascade and Vibra, plus heated stone loungers. The saunas include a dry Finnish, a steam and an infrared sauna; for a fee you can also rent a wood-fired Finnish sauna on the lake. Spa treatments are booked by phone.

Opening hours

The site gives the pool closing time as 20:00 in one place and 21:00 in another; check at reception. The site gives no sauna hours for outside guests. For hotel guests it states the sauna included in the room price is 18:00–20:00 (sauna rules) and elsewhere 18:00–21:00 (saunas page); the two pages differ, so ask at reception. From Monday to Wednesday swimming lessons take place and half of the pool is closed.

According to the operator these prices apply to guests staying outside the guesthouse; guests staying at the resort use the pool free of charge. The spa treatment price list is only an image on the site (dated 1 March 2021, 2025 price list) and is not transcribed here.

Rules and good to know

• The sauna is not allowed for under-18s, pregnant women and people with a range of health conditions
• Bring sandals and two towels for the sauna; the operator recommends using the sauna without textile clothing, in a towel only
• Pool: swimwear is required, one or two-piece for women, close-fitting trunks without pockets for men; a swimming cap is recommended
• Children under 10 may use the pool only with an adult, and children under 3 only in special swim nappies
• Food, drinks and glass items may not be brought into the pool area
• The pool has no lifeguard; guests use it at their own risk

Getting there

The complex is in Chmielno, about 33 km from Gdańsk and 200 m from the village centre.

According to the operator, drive via Kartuzy, turn left at the lights in Garcz towards Chmielno, turn left behind the church in Chmielno and right behind the police station uphill; the site is at the end of Wichrowe Wzgórze street.
