About
Wohlfühl-Therme is a thermal spa in Bad Griesbach in Lower Bavaria. The thermal water comes from the Nikolausquelle (60 °C) and Karlsquelle (30 °C) springs, and the spa offers 16 pools at 18–38 °C over more than 1,600 m², with whirlpools, massage jets, a Kneipp pool and a current channel.
The thermal spa includes a separate sauna area (Sauna pur) with three saunas at 60, 75 and 95 °C, infusions every full hour and an indoor and outdoor whirlpool, plus a hamam, a salt grotto, physiotherapy and a bistro. The sauna and hamam are textile-free according to the operator.

The cash desk closes one hour before closing time (until 20:00). Exceptions: 24 Dec 8:00–12:00, 31 Dec 8:00–17:00, first Thursday in December 8:00–13:00. The hamam has a summer break and appointments must be arranged in advance.

Rules and good to know
- Sauna pur and the hamam are entered without swimwear according to the operator; bring bath towels for the sauna, the hamam provides a traditional pestemal
- Children are not admitted to the sauna and hamam; teenagers from 14 only with a guardian
- Children aged 5 to 14 may use the thermal spa only with an adult; under 3 free
- Rest rooms and solariums may be entered only in dry swimwear
- Filming and photography are forbidden throughout the bathing area
- Overstaying costs 1.50 € per started half hour

By car: enter Therme Holzhäusl, 94086 Bad Griesbach-Therme in the satnav; an underground car park is available (1 € per hour, max 5 € per day, 50 % discount for spa guests)
By train: to Passau or Karpfham Bahnhof/Rotthalmünster; from Karpfham bus line 7567 takes about 10 minutes, from Passau take bus line 6125 or a taxi (about 30 km). Book a taxi in advance
By air: about 145 km from Munich airport, about 100 km from Linz and Salzburg airports
