10 tips for wellness without children (adults only)
In short: A whole complex for adults only is rare: in our data as of 1 Nov 2026 only two places have one. The rest rely on separate zones with an age limit of 15 to 16, on a lower age limit of 14 to 15 for the whole complex, or on evening hours without children. For each tip we say exactly what applies, the journey time from the nearest of the three cities and the price.
Wellness without children is a wish we hear often, and the answer is less fairy-tale than you might expect: a whole complex with an age limit is rare. In our database as of 1 Nov 2026 only two places have one, Linsberg Asia and Saarland Therme. To make up a list of ten tips we added places where the age limit covers only part of the complex or where evening hours without children apply. That is why each tip starts by saying which case it is, and what the minimum age is. Car journey times and distances are from the nearest of Prague, Brno and Ostrava (each tip says which). Prices come from our database, and where we have not verified them, we say so. Treat swimwear in swimwear-free zones as a fact about the venue's rules, not as a selling point.
1. Linsberg Asia – Bad Erlach
Whole complex adults only, from 16. From Brno 145 minutes and 196 km; from Prague and Ostrava it is further. According to the operator these are the only adults-only thermal baths in Austria. Entry costs €51 on weekdays and €55 at weekends, saunas are included, and the price is verified in our data. Plus: 15,000 m², 11 pools and 9 saunas. Minus: in our view the Asian decor borders on kitsch, though that is a matter of taste. The complex includes a swimwear-free zone with two pools, while the other parts follow the usual rules. Suits couples and groups of adults who want calm without time limits and without arguing about swimwear. Profile on findspa.app

How to choose
If you really want calm, go to Linsberg or Saarland and avoid Wednesday. If you want to arrive after work, take Ondrášův dvůr or Žilina. In thermal baths you cannot avoid families, but you can pick an adult zone separately, such as the Silent Spa in Laa (by booking) or the Schaffelbad in Loipersdorf. For every tip, check the age limit, prices and swimwear rules on the operator's website before you travel.
You will find more places by distance and amenities in the filters on the findspa.app home page.
Frequently asked questions
Is there any wellness where children are not allowed at all?
In our data as of 1 Nov 2026 there are two places with an age limit for the whole complex: Linsberg Asia in Austria (from 16) and Saarland Therme in Germany (from 18, with Wednesday as the exception). The other tips in the article have only separate zones, hours or a lower age limit (14 to 15), and each one says so explicitly.
What does 16+ mean, and do I need to carry ID?
It means entry is allowed from the age of 16. Staff may ask for proof of identity if in doubt, and at Széchenyi the operator states this explicitly. If you are travelling with a younger teenager, check the rules on the operator's website beforehand.
Are swimwear-free zones compulsory in these complexes?
No, they are separate zones (usually the sauna areas) that you enter without swimwear. Swimwear is mostly compulsory in the pools. You will find the rule for each place in its tip and in its profile on findspa.app.
