In this article
This selection comes from our database as of 1 Nov 2026. We included only places where the operator's own website openly welcomes children and offers specific children's facilities, such as a children's pool, a slide or a play room. The order reflects how well a place suits families: documented children's facilities, clearly described limits and distance all count. It is not a ranking of water or sauna quality. The drive time by car is from the nearest of the three cities (Prague, Brno, Ostrava), which we state for each tip. Prices are approximate, so check them before you travel. For every place we give what the operator publishes, and where we have not confirmed something we say so openly. We stress the sauna age limits in particular, because those are what most often surprise families with children.

How to choose
First decide whether you want just children's water or saunas too: at five of the places the saunas are for ages 15 or 18 and over. Then check the season, because slides and outdoor pools are often closed in winter. Always check prices and opening hours with the operator. Also bear in mind that with children at a water park the point is not the distance but how many hours the children can last in the water: with a toddler a shorter journey and a shorter visit pay off, with school-age children a longer trip and an all-day ticket. Where we have not confirmed the swimwear rule or the sauna age limit, phone before you travel so that nothing catches you out on the spot.
You will find more places by amenities and distance in the filters on the home page.
