Aquadrom is a leisure pool and sauna complex in Hockenheim that, according to the operator, has been running for more than 60 years. It has a sports pool, a new children's paddling pool, a course pool with a 1 m diving board, a slide, indoor and outdoor brine pools, an outdoor pool in summer, and a salt grotto.
The sauna area has a 1,600 m² garden, according to the operator, and offers a herbal sauna, a log-cabin sauna, a fire sauna, an aroma sauna with light, sounds and scents, and a steam bath. Aufguss sessions run daily on the hour from 11 to 20. Note: Aquadrom is closed for its revision from 2 to 15 November 2026.

According to a notice on the site, Aquadrom is closed from 2 to 15 November 2026 for its revision (indoor pool, salt grotto and sauna). The last salt grotto session is at 19:15; book salt grotto sessions on 06205 2855-600.

Reduced rates apply to children and young people aged 6–17, students and severely disabled visitors with proof. If you overstay, you pay up to the full price of the tariff. 10, 20 and 30-visit cards (sauna: 180 / 340 / 480 €) and season tickets are also available. Payment throughout the complex is by wristband transponder.

Rules and good to know
- Children under 6 are not allowed in the sauna area; children aged 6–15 only with an adult
- According to the operator the sauna is a clothing-free (FKK) area; there is no dress code, but bring a towel and sit on it in the sauna
- Outside the cabin it is usual to wear a bathrobe or sauna towel; shoes are left outside the cabin
- Do not reserve loungers, talk loudly or eat in the sauna
- The salt grotto is entered in everyday clothes; a session lasts 45 minutes and always starts 15 minutes past the hour
Getting there
By car: Aquadrom is well signposted from all directions; enter the house number in your sat nav, Beethovenstraße 41, 68766 Hockenheim. There are about 500 free parking spaces; arriving before 11:00 is advised.
By train: From the station walk to the water tower, then along Wasserturmallee and turn into the street Am Aquadrom; after about 200 m you reach the pool.
The motorhome pitch next to Aquadrom is free.
