About
bademaxx is a sports and leisure pool in Speyer run by the local Stadtwerke. The indoor pool and sauna are open all year, and in summer (mid-May to early September) the outdoor pool is added.
According to the operator, the sauna world has a panorama sauna with a Rhine view for 40 guests, a log-cabin and an indoor Finnish sauna, a bio sauna and a steam bath. There are also relaxation rooms, a sauna garden with a natural pond, a bistro with an open fire and massages. The operator says the sauna area has repeatedly been awarded "SaunaPremium" by the German Sauna Association.

Entry is possible until one hour before closing. Monday is ladies' sauna day (except on holidays). It is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday; on New Year's Eve the pool is open 10:00–13:00 and the sauna is closed.

- Shower before using the sweat rooms, the plunge pool or the pond
- Phoning, photographing and filming are banned in the sauna area
- Children from age 3; up to age 16 only with a suitable adult
Getting there
From Speyer main station, buses 564 and 565 towards "Flugzeugwerke" run several times an hour to the stop "bademaxx/Jugendherberge" in front of the pool
By car take the A61, exit "Speyer" or "Speyer/Hockenheim", then follow signs to the centre or "Museum"; the pool is on Geibstraße opposite the Technik Museum
