About

Badegärten Eibenstock is a sauna and bathing complex in the western Ore Mountains, Germany. According to the operator it combines a rustic sauna village, a Japanese retreat, a natural bathing lake and a themed water park for families.

The sauna world offers 13 saunas and sauna rituals according to the operator, from the Russian banya and a Finnish sauna to a Karelian smoke sauna, a Japanese steam bath and the Eibenstock beer bath. The sauna area is a textile-free zone; the water park (Badewelt) has two slides and children's play areas.

Opening hours

Closed for maintenance 21 Jun–1 Jul 2027. Last entry is one hour before closing, and the pool and sauna areas must be left 15 minutes before closing. The operator recommends booking your date in advance by phone or email.

Prices

Rituals are paid separately and only together with sauna entry. A family pool ticket over 180 min costs 47.00 € (2 adults and 1 child). Prepaid cards with 5–20% discount are available.

Rules and good to know

• The sauna area is a textile-free zone; swimwear is not allowed in the cabins, and a large enough towel to lie on is required
• Bags, cameras and mobile phones may not be taken into the sauna area
• Smoking is banned across the site except in designated outdoor corners
• Children up to 16 only with an adult; the minimum age for the youngest differs on the operator's pages (under 7 not admitted / from 3 with a waiver), so check with the operator
• Partner massages and sexually motivated behaviour are prohibited

Getting there

By car on the A72 take exit Hartenstein, then towards Aue and along the B 283 to Eibenstock; then follow the signs

Parking is in the municipal car park "An den Badegärten", built in 2024; next to it is a motorhome site with 18 pitches
