About
Balneon is a municipal spa and swimming centre in Neustadt am Rübenberge near Hanover. According to the operator it offers a swimming pool, a slide, an outdoor pool, a natural swimming lake kept clean without chemicals, a gym and a sauna world.
The sauna world has six saunas (including the Waldblick aufguss sauna, Birkenwald with a sound system, and the Salzhütte salt hut), a steam bath, an infrared cabin, an outdoor brine pool at 12 % salt (36 °C) and a panorama pool. According to the operator all saunas are textile-free.

The sauna world is listed until 23:00, but usage time ends at 22:30; last entry 60 minutes before closing. Public holidays generally follow Sunday hours. The lake closes depending on light and weather.
