Der Schwitzkasten
Sauna
About
Der Schwitzkasten is a wood-fired Finnish sauna on a houseboat-style raft moored in Rostock's Stadthafen on the Warnow river. According to the operator, you cool off straight in the river, which it calls Rostock's biggest plunge pool.
The sauna is for groups of up to 8 and runs from September to May. It does not sail out during rentals; the raft stays at the jetty. There is a sauna room with a panoramic window, a rest room, a terrace, a kitchenette, a shower and a toilet.
