About
Entdeckerbad is a family adventure pool in the Ostsee Resort Damp right on the Baltic Sea. According to the operator it offers an event slide of almost 100 metres with light effects, a speed slide of over 66 metres, an indoor pool (27-29 °C), an outdoor pool and a children's pool at 30 °C. There is a bistro with a hot kitchen inside.
Entdeckerbad includes the Värmland sauna area, which the operator calls Germany's first sweat-hut village, with a Finnish sauna (85 °C), a Sonarium bio sauna (70 °C) and a clay sauna (60 °C). The neighbouring Mare Mara wellness area adds a sauna landscape and the Panoramabad with a seawater pool and a view of the Baltic Sea, but it has its own opening hours.

Entdeckerbad is closed from 11 to 24 January 2027 for maintenance. The bistro hours differ between two pages (until 17:30 and until 18:30), so we leave them out. Mare Mara has its own entry times and conditions.

Getting there
By car on the A7 motorway and the last stretch by road; a large free car park is at the entrance to Damp, with a free shuttle bus from there.
By train to Kiel, a regional train to Eckernförde, then bus line 711 straight to Damp.
