About
FrankenTherme is a thermal and spa centre in Bad Königshofen in Lower Franconia (Bavaria). According to the operator it offers 1,259 m² of water surface with mineral healing water at 30–34 °C, an indoor and an outdoor pool, a whirlpool, a slide and a separate children's area; in summer a natural healing-water lake is also available.
The complex includes the Saunadorf, a sauna village built like a half-timbered Franconian hamlet. The operator describes seven themed saunas from 55 to 95 °C on 293 m², a brewery sauna with an infusion ceremony every hour, a salt graduation wall in the relaxation room and a cooling pool. There are also wellness and therapy treatments, spa stays and pitches for motorhomes.

Last admission is 2 hours before closing (Mon–Thu 19:00, Fri 21:00, Sat, Sun and holidays 18:00); bathing time ends 30 minutes before closing. On Wednesdays there is a ladies' sauna according to the operator (except Bavarian school holidays and public holidays). Infusions in the brewery sauna run hourly: Mon–Thu 11:00–20:00, Fri 11:00–22:00, Sat, Sun and holidays 11:00–19:00. The natural healing-water lake is on its winter break and, according to the operator, reopens in early May.

Prices from the operator's website; 3-hour and 4-hour tickets are also offered, as well as rates for students, holders of a disability card and groups of 15 or more. Each started half hour beyond the chosen ticket costs 1.00 € extra, up to the price of the day ticket. Value cards give a 10–20 % discount (10 € deposit). Entry is free on your birthday according to the operator. From 26 Oct to 20 Dec 2026 a "Mondschein" (moonlight) special rate applies from 16:30 (details on the operator's website).

Getting there
By car on the A71 (Schweinfurt–Erfurt), exit Bad Neustadt / Bad Königshofen
Bad Königshofen has no railway station; the nearest are in Bad Neustadt an der Saale and Schweinfurt, then continue by bus
From Coburg a direct bus runs about every four hours (around 48 minutes), according to the operator
