According to the operator, ThermeNatur Bad Rodach is the first thermal bath in Franconia. It offers over 1,000 m² of water surface with mineral healing water: two indoor and three outdoor pools, a therapy pool, a brine pool with a current channel, a swimming pool, a steam bath and Kneipp facilities.
The operator describes the "Erdfeuer" sauna world as a 5-star premium one. It has log-cabin saunas of Finnish pine, open fire pits and a flowing transition between indoor and outdoor areas. According to the operator saunas are textile-free; the towel rule is in the rules below.

Prices per the operator, including VAT; the sauna ticket includes the thermal bath. Adding the sauna on the spot costs 7.00 EUR (child 5.50 EUR). Severely disabled guests get 10% off; children up to 3 are free. Hiring swimwear, a bathrobe or a towel costs 7.00 EUR each; parking by the entrance is 2 EUR (free 150 m lower). Opening hours: thermal bath 9am–9pm (Fri and Sat until 11pm), sauna 10am–9pm (Fri and Sat until 11pm); the same on public holidays.

Rules and good to know
- According to the operator the sauna is textile-free; a sauna towel serves as a mat and should cover the seat and feet
- A shower and thorough drying are advised before the first sauna session; keep quiet inside
- Children up to 12 may enter only with an adult
- Snorkels, fins, inflatable islands and larger pool toys may not be brought

By car along the newly opened St 2205; the car park by the entrance has 48 spaces at 2 EUR a day, the car park 150 m lower is free
By Agilis train to Bad Rodach, about 20 minutes on foot from the station
