The leisure centre “die WELLE” run by Stadtwerke Lauterbach (Hesse) offers an indoor pool, a heated outdoor pool and a sauna world on 30,000 m². According to the site the outdoor pool is currently closed, while the indoor pool and sauna are open.
The sauna landscape is styled after dunes. According to the operator it has an indoor light-and-sound sauna (75–85 °C) and a bio sauna (70 °C), and outdoors an event sauna (80–90 °C) and a herbal sauna (100 °C). There is also a cooling pool with a waterfall, a plunge pool, a shower grotto, two infrared cabins and a medistream massage bed.

Valid during the indoor pool season. The pool page gives 14:00–22:00 for Tue–Fri, while the sauna page says the sauna is open until 23:00. Special events (such as a ladies' evening) can shorten public hours.
