Freizeitbad Vegesack is an indoor leisure pool run by Bremer Bäder in the Vegesack district of Bremen. According to the operator it is especially popular with families: it has a stainless-steel pool with 25 m lanes, a 1 m and 3 m diving tower and slides 50 and 60 m long.
The sauna area spreads over two floors. It has a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a log-cabin sauna for more than 20 people and a steam sauna, plus a plunge pool, an ice fountain, an open-air area and a rest area. The operator also holds themed sauna events.

The box office closes 30 minutes before closing time and the pools must be left 15 minutes before; for the sauna, ticket sales end 120 minutes before closing. On the event day, 7 Nov 2026, the sauna only opens at 15:00.

Rules and good to know
- Children and teenagers under 18 without an adult are admitted only with an original swimming certificate (at least Bronze)
- In the FKK (clothing-free) area the sauna is entered without clothing, with a towel on the bench
- On Wednesdays the sauna is ladies-only
- The operator asks for a large towel, also under the feet; a sauna round should last 8–15 minutes
- Loungers must not be reserved
Getting there
By bus 91, 92 or 94 to the stop Bremen Fährgrund; the pool car park is about 100 m away
By bus 90, 90E, 95 or 677 to the stop Bremen Aumunder Heide; the car park is a few hundred metres further
The step-free entrance is on Stümckes Weg at the side of the building, with a buzzer at the door
