Grand Hotel Impero is a 39-room hotel in a 1950s villa on the slopes of Monte Amiata in Tuscany, between the Val d'Orcia and the Maremma. According to the operator, it is a good base for trips to Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni and Saturnia after its renovation.
The wellness area is called Il Cedro SPA and works as a private spa: at set times it welcomes families with children, otherwise it can be booked for a couple or friends alone. It is open to hotel guests for a supplement and to outside guests by reservation. A bathrobe, towel and slippers are included.
