About
Ulricehamns Kallbadhus is a cold-bath house on Lake Åsunden in the centre of Ulricehamn in Västra Götaland, between Borås and Jönköping. It opened in March 2008 and is owned and run by the non-profit association Ulricehamns Kallbadhusförening.
Bathing, sauna, showers and changing are separate for women and men; only the sun deck a floor up is shared. According to the operator it is open every day 6:00–22:00, all year round without exception.

Rules and good to know
- A shower before the sauna is mandatory
- Always sit on a towel in the sauna
- According to the operator, you choose whether to bathe naked or in swimwear
- Only one scoop of water at a time on the heater, and only over the stones
- Essential oils in the sauna only if the others agree
- Smoking is forbidden both inside and outside
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; from age 7 girls use the women's and boys the men's section
Getting there
The bathhouse is in central Ulricehamn along Route 40 between Borås and Jönköping; it is about a five-minute walk from the bus station.
Parking is next to the building. Buses run from both Borås and Jönköping (Västtrafik).
