Königsbad is a year-round leisure pool in the centre of Forchheim with an indoor pool hall, an outdoor pool park and a sauna world. According to the operator it is meant for the whole family, sport swimmers and beginners alike.
The sauna landscape offers cabins from 60 to 95 °C: an earth sauna, a Finnish sauna with salt infusions, an event sauna, a herbal sauna and a steam bath. There are also cooling and foot pools, ice buckets, a whirlpool, two experience showers, relaxation rooms and a sauna bar.

Last admission is one hour before closing; bathing and sauna time ends 15 minutes before closing. On 24 Dec, 25 Dec, 31 Dec and 1 Jan the pool and sauna are closed. According to the operator no online registration or ticket booking is needed.

Overstaying in the sauna costs €4.00 per started hour (children €3.00), up to the day-ticket price. The operator also sells value cards with a 10–20% discount; children under 6 enter the pool free.
