About
Freibad Lorraine is an open-air bathing facility run by the City of Bern's sports office (Sportamt). According to the operator it offers a refreshing swim in a separate pool or in the river Aare, the latter for experienced swimmers only.
Per its list of facilities the site has a mixed nudist (FKK) area, a sunbathing lawn, a toddler pool and playground, and the Buvette Lorrainebad kiosk. The 2026 season ran from 9 May to 13 September.

There is no car parking; the site can only be reached on foot or by bike
