About
monte mare in Kreuzau is a spa and swimming complex with a wave pool under a glass dome, a sports and a leisure pool, a textile wellness area and a sauna world. According to the operator it offers bathing on more than 1,000 m² and is open more than 360 days a year.
The sauna world has three indoor and four outdoor cabins: a Finnish infusion sauna for up to 50 people, the Kreuzau sweat lodge, a colour-light sauna, a slate sauna (100 °C), an earth sauna, a tower sauna with panoramic views over the Rureifel and a steam bath. There is also a warm outdoor pool and extensive sauna gardens.

Prices from the price list on the operator's website (the sauna tickets are marked "Stand: 1. Januar 2024"); verify they are current. If you overstay, 1.50 € is charged for every started 30 minutes, up to the price of the day ticket. Moving from the pool to the textile wellness area costs a one-off 5 € surcharge.
