Sauna Deco is a small city sauna on the Herengracht in central Amsterdam, which the operator says has been running for over 44 years. On about 600 m² it offers a sauna world with an interior from the Le Bon Marché department store in Paris, dating from the 1920s.
There are two Finnish saunas (above 100 °C and 80 °C), a steam bath, an infrared cabin, a cold plunge pool, loungers and a lounge with a small snack and drink menu. According to the operator there is no swimming pool or jacuzzi.

Rules and good to know
- All days are mixed and, according to the operator, swimwear is not worn in the sauna
- Phones and tablets only at reception; phones, smartwatches and other electronics may not be taken inside, and e-readers must be approved by the receptionist
- Children are welcome if they behave calmly, and are admitted until 20:00
- Healthy women with a normal pregnancy may visit; the infrared sauna is not recommended and sessions should be short
