About
Terme di Petriolo lies in the Basso Merse nature reserve near Monticiano in the province of Siena. Its thermal pools are fed by hyperthermal sulphurous water at about 43 °C, which rises from a spring on the bank of the Farma stream.
Besides bathing, the centre offers mud baths, ozonated hydromassage, inhalations, massages and a bistro. Children under 6 may not enter the pools, and those aged 6–12 only for 10 minutes.
