About
Wananas is a sports and leisure pool in Herne in the Ruhr area which, according to the operator, offers swimming and sauna on more than 5,000 m². The complex includes swimming and children's pools, catering and swimming courses.
The sauna area has a classic Finnish sauna and a Finnish salt sauna with a Himalayan salt wall and coloured lighting, a relaxation room with a panoramic window, a sauna lounge and a garden. According to the operator the garden is fully screened from outside, so it can be used without swimwear.

Early swimming does not apply on public holidays. During NRW school holidays and on public holidays the sports pool follows the leisure pool's hours. Every Monday (except holidays) is ladies' day in the sauna.

- Phoning, photographing and filming are forbidden in the sauna area
- The operator also mentions a textile sauna, with the same rules except for removing swimwear
- Swimwear must be worn in the pool area
