About
Wasserpark Wennigsen is a natural swimming pond in Wennigsen near the Deister hills. According to the operator, the water is cleaned biologically without chlorine or ozone, through a planted regeneration pond and a gravel filter. The grounds have a swimmers' pool and a non-swimmers' pool, and a rock for jumping.
It is a seasonal operation with a daily entry fee during lifeguarded hours. Outside them, early-morning and evening swimming is available on a separate ticket, at one's own risk and after signing a liability waiver. According to the operator, the health authority tests the water quality weekly.

The site gives no season start or end dates. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds. On the contact page the phone number differs from the site header (05105 instead of 05103); the header and footer number is used.

- Jumping from the jetties is forbidden; jumping is allowed only from the jumping rock, at one's own risk
- Bathing is forbidden in the regeneration and spring ponds
- Glasses and bottles may not be taken into the bathing area
- Picking up or throwing pebbles and boulders is forbidden; enter the bathing area only through the open areas, not over the planted beds
- Radios and audio devices at background volume
- Outside lifeguarded hours (10:00–19:30) bathing is at one's own risk
- Dogs are not allowed
Getting there
By car via the B217 or L391 to Hauptstraße in central Wennigsen, then along Bröhnweg towards the Deister for about 700 m. Parking and bike racks are plentiful.
By S-Bahn S1 and S2 from Hannover and Haste every half hour to Wennigsen (Deister), then bus 540 or 362 to the Schützenhof stop; from there about 700 m on foot.
