About
Wellnesshotel Tanne sits in the quiet Tonbach valley in Baiersbronn in the Black Forest and, according to the operator, has been family-owned by the Möhrle family since 1868. The spa area is called the Tonbacher Waldbad and, according to the site, includes a pool, a Glasmachersauna, a Kohlenmeilersauna, a sun meadow, a panoramic relaxation room and the Mönchstube with bathing ceremonies.
The highlight is the Baumhaussauna, an outdoor sauna 10 metres above the valley, built in 2010, which according to the operator holds up to 25 guests. A themed infusion takes place there daily, and the first floor has a relaxation room with six beds. Entry is included for overnight guests; outside guests can come for a day of wellness by prior registration.
