About
According to the operator, AquArenA in Herzogenbuchsee (canton of Bern) combines an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, wellness and a winter ice rink under one roof. The indoor pool has a 25 m swimming pool with five lanes, a non-swimmers' pool with an adjustable floor, a children's paddling pool and a 34 °C warm-water pool.
The Aquarena Spa wellness area covers about 350 m² in the mixed section, with no time limit on your stay according to the operator: a bio sauna, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, experience showers, a cold plunge pool and outdoor terraces. A smaller gender-separated section for women and for men offers Finnish saunas, rest rooms and plunge pools with a terrace.

Pools and sweat rooms must be left at the latest 15 minutes before closing. In the winter season wellness is open from 26 Sep 2026 to 25 Apr 2027 and the indoor pool from 14 Sep 2026 to 9 May 2027. Closed on 24, 25 and 31 Dec 2026, and from 17:00 on 7 Nov 2026 (company event). On Fridays early-bird swimming starts at 6:30 (reception opens only at 9:00). Single tickets are sold until 45 minutes before closing.

Prices are in CHF and are single-entry tickets. Wellness admission is from age 12. The deposit is CHF 10 for a wristband and CHF 5 for a chip card. The operator also offers a family ticket (CHF 25 for the pool), multi-visit cards and season passes; the adult price for gender-separated wellness plus the warm-water pool is CHF 30.
